West Elm Wishbone Style Chair

This chair is a timeless icon of modern Danish design and was inspired by the original Hans Wegner Wishbone Chair introduced in 1949. There are around 120 meters of paper cord that are handwoven to make up the seat, making this chair a craftsman masterpiece. It was the first of Wegner's chairs designed for Carl Hansen & Son. Light and relatively compact, the Wishbone Chair has curved back legs and a semicircular top rail that offers support to the back and adds to its elegance.
